Las normas
 
Sca/AW conductor cumple o supera las siguientes Normas ASTM:
 
L      B-609 de 1350 vuelta el cable de aluminio templado, Intermedio y los ánimos, para usos eléctricos.
 
L      B-502 Aluminum-Clad el núcleo de acero cables para los conductores de aluminio, acero Aluminum-Clad reforzado.
 
L      B-856 Concentric-Lay trenzado de acero con recubrimiento de conductores de aluminio compatible (SCA).
Varamiento disponibles son idénticos a los que figuran en la especificación ASTM B-232.

 

 
 
 
La construcción
 
Sca/AW es un compuesto concéntricalayconductor trenzado. Hilos de acero constituyen el núcleo central del conductor con una o más capas de aluminio 1350O trenzado de alambre alrededor de ella. El núcleo de acero transporta la mayor parte o toda la carga mecánica del conductor debido a la "O" (totalmente o recocido blando) moderar el aluminio. El núcleo de acero cables están protegidos de la corrosión por un revestimiento de aluminio.
